A General Pass includes access to every keynote, panel, talk and roundtable across both days, all networking sessions, and printed and digital session notes. It does not include the Workshop Lab track, which requires a Professional or Workshop Pass.

Yes. You can upgrade from a General or Community Pass to a Professional or Workshop Pass by paying the difference in price, subject to workshop availability.

Groups of five or more from the same organisation receive a 10% discount on Professional and Workshop Passes. Contact the organising team directly to arrange group registration.

Yes. Sessions are scheduled with short gaps built in specifically so attendees can move between rooms. Workshop Lab sessions are the exception, as they are capped and require registration.

This is expected, and it's exactly what the Build My Schedule tool is for. When you save a session that conflicts with one you've already saved, the site will flag the overlap and let you choose which to keep.

Selected keynote and panel sessions are recorded for attendees, but Workshop Lab sessions and fireside chats in the Ideas Lounge are not recorded, in order to keep those rooms candid.

Speakers are invited by the programming team based on the strength and originality of a proposed session, not their public profile. Around a third of each year's speakers have never spoken at a conference before.

Some speakers hold informal office hours in the Ideas Lounge between sessions; these are noted on their speaker page when confirmed. Formal one-on-one time is not guaranteed.

The conference is held at Meridian Exchange, Victoria Island, Lagos. Full directions, transit and parking guidance are on the Venue page.

Lunch and light refreshments are included in every ticket tier. Long Table Lunch on Day One and Community Table Lunch on Day Two are both included, unticketed, communal meals.

Yes. Meridian Exchange has step-free access at the main entrance, an accessible lift connecting both floors, and accessible restrooms on each level. Full details are on the Venue page.

Yes. A dedicated Quiet Area is available near the Ideas Lounge throughout both days for anyone who needs a break from the main rooms.

Yes. Accommodation requests, including seating, mobility or sensory needs, can be noted during the checkout process or sent directly to the organising team ahead of the event.

Yes. Workshop Lab sessions require a Professional Pass or Workshop Pass. Seats are limited and allocated on a first-registered basis once your pass is confirmed.

Workshop facilitators note any specific materials on the individual session page. In general, bring a notebook; laptops are welcome but not required for any workshop.

Passes are refundable in full up to 30 days before the event, and at 50% up to 7 days before. No refunds are available within 7 days of the event, though passes may be transferred to another attendee.

Yes, at any time before the event, at no charge. Contact the organising team with the new attendee's details to reissue the pass.

No. THE CONFERENCE is deliberately built across disciplines, including leadership, technology, design, agriculture, education, finance, culture, entrepreneurship, public policy, science and the creative industries.

No. This site is a frontend-only demonstration. The ticket checkout simulates a purchase flow for design purposes only; no real payment is processed and no card details are stored.
